If I become president, I’ll make significant investments in Kantanka cars, says Kofi Akpaloo
If I become president, I’ll make significant investments in Kantanka cars, says Kofi Akpaloo. Kofi Akpaloo, the Liberal Party of Ghana’s (LPG) presidential candidate, has revealed that he plans to purchase a Kantanka car if elected president.
In an interview with Fiifi Pratt on Kingdom FM, Kofi Akpaloo revealed his intentions to assist Kantaka Automobile in raising money through the stock market.
He declared that if elected president, he would sell and float Kantaka Automobile’s stock, enabling the general public to purchase a portion of the shares and get a stake in the Kantaka business.
According to Kofi Akpaloo, “if Kantaka floats shares and each share costs GHC 1,000, he will receive GHCC 10 billion, which he can use to purchase new and upgraded car parts to help him advance.”
Additionally, Kofi Akpaloo clarified that he would make auto components accessible in Ghana in order to prevent Kantaka from importing certain auto parts in order to produce his vehicles. He said that in order to help obtain the raw materials needed to create the cars, he will construct manufacturing facilities in Ghana that will turn commodities like iron ore and bauxite into steel.
